Looking up With Eyes Closed, See More, Be More

Not so impressed by the pale moonlight, glowing as dawn would slow come right up
Instinctive feel the hills we retreat to, only to see the spectacles we see through
Only as clear as the day I first reacted, first day I retracted to the familiar part of me
Each light made no sense to me, each wink was infinite in time
Delayed and stretched to fit the heavens over
To leak glistening rays of Olympus upon intrepid daemons and creatures of the night
Are you watching...listening, seeing the morbid look on the face of actuality
Creeping about the silver light along white lines
Sand at touch, another level in taste however deceiving it really is
A cross mismatch to send us on a high
Streaming across so many pages
Hearing one but seeing two, asked for three and five sticks on and it was you who ate the last apple
Took blame for the sublimation of the lab explosion, not as big as the excitation
Feeling of the wrong interjection gave us the wrong initiative to work from
So here it is just one more time
I went first, dotted vowels met and speechless with twisted actions
Short and sweet it may have appeared
Deception at work as it lasted forever
So yes I see it when the sheets above are clear
But with eyes closed I see more and I can fly to the moon and back again

Written Once, Never Forgotten, Seen Many Times

Set the scene where I was sat
I wouldn't be able to
Saw the world with the view
The hills, the mountains, the sunrise
People all surround as we watched the colours come up
Purple first floods the cotton balls stretched with the layer of silk
The temperature would see us hold tight
Orange a lonely colour with no one to caress it
Yet still it followed
Rocks sides form and shape was given to the earth around
People stare as if we were on top of the world
With the first glimpse of light
Everyone took their breath while you stole mine
Now was the time yellow came flowing through
Orange was no longer in sight
Purple is now Indigo
Vision of the world would once again return to my mind
Seeking what we waited and soon saw
I created the surroundings but you made the picture perfect
I was never one to admit when I've been weak
Holding the rope off the edge to get a better view
Keeping it on bottom line
I let it go
Would it really be that bad to take the assumption of you
But soon it became the framed image hope had expected
My eyes opened with the cold air around me
Pulled off the covers and saw into the dark
light would hit my eyes
Remember what it was we saw
What I saw
Just in
Time
