Written Once, Never Forgotten, Seen Many Times

Set the scene where I was sat
I wouldn't be able to
Saw the world with the view
The hills, the mountains, the sunrise
People all surround as we watched the colours come up
Purple first floods the cotton balls stretched with the layer of silk
The temperature would see us hold tight
Orange a lonely colour with no one to caress it
Yet still it followed
Rocks sides form and shape was given to the earth around
People stare as if we were on top of the world
With the first glimpse of light
Everyone took their breath while you stole mine
Now was the time yellow came flowing through
Orange was no longer in sight
Purple is now Indigo
Vision of the world would once again return to my mind
Seeking what we waited and soon saw
I created the surroundings but you made the picture perfect
I was never one to admit when I've been weak
Holding the rope off the edge to get a better view
Keeping it on bottom line
I let it go
Would it really be that bad to take the assumption of you
But soon it became the framed image hope had expected
My eyes opened with the cold air around me
Pulled off the covers and saw into the dark
light would hit my eyes
Remember what it was we saw
What I saw
Just in
Time
